Timing and Precautions

Avoid the Muslim Quarter, and thus the first six stations of the Via Dolorosa, between noon and 2 pm Friday, the time of important weekly Muslim prayers. All the holy places demand modest dress: no shorts or short capris, no sleeveless tops, no low necklines.
